What Would You Do With a Million Dollars?.
I have heard of one-day millionaires who won the lottery and 6 months later has been reduced to poverty. I wouldn’t like that. I think having a lot of money is a problem itself. You now need to manage it.
Anyway, back on topic.
- The first I would do is create passive income from businesses. What kind of businesses? I would enter real estate. I would buy apartments here in Makati and in the university belt wherein there is a huge number of employees and students, respectively.
- Food industry would be good too since I have friends who has had experience setting up a restaurant. I would go to seminars and classes to learn more about the business.
- I would then pay off my debts.
- I will find several children and pay for their education.
- Lastly, I will retire.
What’s Your Frugal Obsession?
A laptop. I would never buy a laptop. I know that a laptop’s price far exceeds the value it can give to me if I am an outgoing person who needs to work on things while at home or outside the office. But I don’t. That’s not the only reason. Laptops are far too expensive and almost every month, a new model appears in the market. It’s value depreciates rapidly.
