Many companies use positive reinforcement help increase productivity and decrease absenteeism used right now to motivate employees to be more productive. Positive reinforcement is any form of incentives or rewards given to employees after achieving a certain goal. For example, an employee who does something meritorious and receives a positive consequence will likely to do it again to get more.

It’s highly recommended that you should be personal when giving positive reinforcement statements. Try using “I” or “we”, not “company” or “management” when giving it.
Do not wait until a week later. Do it immediately. In fact, reinforce as soon as you catch someone in the act of doing a good job.
Remember that you can never reinforce too much. An employee will never be tired of hearing their name being praised. Instead he would want do a better job next time to hear more praises.
