Have you ever been in a situation that every keyword you’ve used doesn’t seem to be getting the right results? Don’t ever wish that some of the websites you don’t need right now vanish from the results?

We’ve seen Sproose in action, a lot of other search engines. Right now I want to introduce to you Quintura, an attempt at creating a visual search engine.

Problems with today’s search engines

I have to admit, today’s search engine results aren’t what we like them to be. We are bombarded by irrelevant search results. Big corporations dominating the search engine results. Quintura aims to solve them all and give you what you need.

Quintura Features

Refine Search Results
This is where the fun begins. You can refine the search engine results by working on the word cloud. Try doing one of these:

• Click on the word that be much more closely associated with what you need
• Hover over a word and click the “x” or exclude button to remove search results containing the word
• Type in additional search keywords on the search box

Save Search Results
You can definitely save search results on your computer. I have not seen any search engine that allows you that.

Embed
Lastly, you can embed your word cloud to your website. You’d get get some cool word cloud with Quintura’s search engine functionality on your website.

My Take

The visual search engine, Quintura is very fun to play with. It is definitely a good idea. But I have to admit, it is a lot slower than Google. They need to work on the speed. After all, Google is not the best search engine because it’s fun to play with.
