I am Back!

Due to insistent public demand (I wish!) I am back.

Yes, I am still alive.

Before starting, I have to answer some of the questions that was raised by some. I haven’t been abducted by aliens. I did not get arrested for trafficking anything illegal. I haven’t been time traveling(although I wish I’ve been). I did not get married. I did not join any extremist groups. I did not become a fry cook. I did not get into drug rehabilitation. And finally, I did not quit blogging.

What’s been going on?

It’s real easy. I’ve been busy. Busy with the new developments in the company I work for. Busy being an IT Head for graphic development, web development and data research. But a blogger shouldn’t be busy enough not to blog, right? Yes. So I worked on a couple of things:

Finally after a few weeks out and ‘enjoying’ work, I am now back and ready to blog.

Reflections

Three months ago have been very fruitful especially for me and this blog. Not only have I made friends with a lot of bloggers from around the world, it has opened up so many things about blogging and making money online.

I remembered when I started about 3 months ago, October 6, 2007 to be exact, I really didn’t know what I was going to blog about. As you would have noticed in the first post, I tried to get into the ‘technology news’ niche but later found out that I wasn’t exactly interested in it. Besides, to-die-for gadgets aren’t really on my list of favorite subjects.

Somehow, since I have been a manager for more than a year, I tried productivity and management niches, hence the “Personal Development” category. Although I liked the subject so well, my knowledge about it was very limited. Then finally, I went into focusing this blog to an internet business / webmaster niche. So far it’s been wonderful and look! It’s now a blog with a Page Rank of 3.

Conclusion? - Go into a niche you enjoy and have sufficient knowledge about.

Thanks

I would like to thank a couple of bloggers that have helped and given me inspiration to blog better and believe that making money online is achievable.

  • The Digerati Life - A blog started by someone with very little knowledge about blogging that made it one of the best business blogs in the blogosphere. Your personal finance blog has truly inspired me. Thanks SVB.
  • McBilly - A blog with a niche very much similar to mine. One of the friendliest blogger you’d find. What I love about McBilly, is that he’s everywhere. You’d see him commenting on numerous blog at record speeds but still giving value with every comment. Truly a blog commenting strategy advocate.
  • Macuha - This guy has admitted that he has a very ugly blog but being ugly has its benefits. The earnings he’s been generating through his blog is proof that making money online is very possible even to newbie webmasters.
  • To everyone else - If I missed anyone, sorry but “Thank you”.
