codeflickI have always wanted to launch a large application like a game I played a long long time ago, ORKFiA and Elveron but I never had the chance due to my work as a web programmer and now as an IT Production and Development Head. My weekends have been the only time I had to work on my personal projects.

I thought of creating a tutorial indexing site last week but this time, with a pre-made application. I looked at Drupal, Joomla and some other CMS applications but unfortunately, they were just too complex for the small application I needed to build.

Application

Searching wasn’t hard though since I’ve already been using a blogging software which can be used as a tutorial indexing site. Wordpress was a fantastic application that would fit what I needed to create.

Template

After a day of searching for the right template, fortunately, a nice wordpress template was released by Sorel Mihai at DailyWP. The perfect template for what I needed to create. It had everything I wanted except of course for a ratings system which is available as a plugin at Wordpress Plugin Repository.

The Result

CodeFlick was born. Although not a full blown tutorial indexing site, it can do almost everything Tutorial Outpost and Tutorialized can.

I am hoping to get a lot of visitors to this site although I am mainly interested in having a compilation of the best Photoshop, Illustrator, jQuery, Mootools, CSS and many more web and graphics technologies.
