At long last, I would meet fellow Filipino bloggers. Although I’ve met some, a gathering like the Wordcamp Philippines 2008 would be awesome.
Hmm.. What is Wordcamp anyway? According to Weblog Tools Collection, it is a conference type event focusing on the development of Wordpress.
I had been using Wordpress since 2006 for a number of blogs I had in the past. Many times, I’ve looked into some blogging platforms but have always come back to Wordpress not only because of it’s superior blog features but also for the large community behind it.
Now that a Wordcamp will be held here, I will definitely join, see and hear about the future plans of the Wordpress developers. I’d also like to hear about bbpress, their forum software.
If you are interested to hear about Wordpress news right from the source, hopefully hear also about bbpress or simply meet fellow bloggers, You might as well register now. Then finally thank the sponsors and of course the Mindanao Bloggers.
