It’s been a while since I have announced that I’ve been creating an open-source online invoicing software. I’d say that I’m still half finished due to the bulk of features I want to be available on the invoicing software.
I’ve been looking into some features of the commercial online invoicing softwares like Freshbooks, Blinksale, Simply Bill, Cashboard, etc and I can honestly say that there are overwhelming features that are still missing from my software.
I am now faced with the dilemma of creating a very less featured invoicing software which can be released sooner or a full-featured invoicing software which can be released at a very later date.
For now, I am deciding to work out something between them. Create a software that may contain less features than the commercial ones but can still be used professionally by small businesses, freelancers and of course the reason why this software is being created by me, my present company, Glocorp Publications, Inc.
When I decide to go another path with the software, I’d annouce it here. I will stick with this decision for now.
