Progressive Accessibility Enhancements

Posted by teejay on October 31, 2009

Accessibility is important to everyone. Especially to readers like you - regardless of disability - who want to read and get useful information from websites like this one.

I am now proud to say that this site is now built using HTML 4.01 Strict and CSS which should be readable and in all standard browsers.

This site will also work even without CSS and without Javascript. I've also made changes to make it accessible to people who are denied(or don't want) the use of the mouse.

Aside from web accessibility enhancements, I've also revamped the about page. Instead of showing a somewhat resumé-like about page, I've chosen to show a more meaningful one that shows more information on what the site is all about.

I am so happy with the changes I've made but there are still some work to do around here and I hope this website can deliver what I intended it to do.
